Poker Results for July

July is done, and well, I had a mixed month. Start of the month wasn’t great, and I was stuck $1500 pretty early on. Rest of the month was just a grind, with a nice breakeven stretch in the middle to boot. Overall, I finished up £1900 sterling when I include bonuses, so not too shabby. The start of August has been ok (dropped $1k very early on – why do I seem to do this every month?!), but 2 days in, and im up like $750 so all good. My target is $5k, we will see how I get on.

Decided against going to the deepstack at DuskTillDawn, just not worth my time, I will probably find a similar tournament running in London. For some reason I’ve the urge to put myself through the torture of a live tournament. I can almost write the report now. ‘I played for 8 hours, and got knocked out on the bubble when my AK ran into AQ…’ Sigh. We will see.

Actually if anyone knows of some good donkaments in London, let me know, probably around the £300-£500 buy-in level? And with work friendly hours, so I don’t have to take a day off work.
